Mission
Armenian Research and Public Narratives Institute (AARPI) is an organization dedicated to forwarding community-powered research, public history, and narratives to advance the well-being and equity of Armenian communities in the United States.
About Us
Armenian-American Research and Public Narratives Institute (AARPI) is dedicated to advancing community-empowered research and engagement to strengthen the well-being, public history, and equity of Armenian communities across the United States. AARPI is a national institution of the Armenian-American Advancement Network (AAAN).
Founded in 2025, AARPI works with communities to elevate Armenian narratives and deepen understanding of the needs, issues, and experiences of Armenian communities in the U.S. We advocate for and produce high-quality data while collaborating with community leaders, scholars, policymakers, stakeholders, and partners to advance research that empowers Armenian communities and promotes greater data representation and justice.
We forward research and narratives on a wide range of issues for Armenian communities in the United States including but not limited to health equity, discrimination, civil rights, voting rights, business, arts & culture, civic engagement, and environmental impact. We also convene and facilitate interdisciplinary conversations that bring together diverse perspectives and advance representation, justice, and well-being for Armenian communities across the country.
